Notes
NOTES. C&C Publishers (Brian Callahan and John T. Cullen) initially published two HTML websites in early 1996. All this info is available at the Clocktower Books Museum site. Also (PLEASE NOTE) good news: you can read all of my CLASSIC books (half free/try-buy whole) at Galley City. So the joy and excitement of these early readers is still available online in the HTML Novel format. We started with The Haunted Village SFFH, where I published Heartbreaker that readers mention in these emails. The other was Neon Blue Fiction, where I published Neon Blue (suspense thriller). I also published Pioneers (SF) and CON2: The Generals of October on these sites. On the SFFH side, I changed the title of Heartbreaker in 1998 to This Shoal of Space (it received a glorious rave review from Tracy Eastgate, a leading book critic at the time). Please note that I have experimented with various titles over the years, hoping to generate more sales. Clocktower Fiction became Clocktower Books, and the CTF website has been lost in the domain name resale trade. Luckily, I did one good screenshot before losing the domain and the new (extortionist) owners abusing Wayback policies refuse to let readers see the historical website, in an effort to make me pay thousands to get the CTF domain back. The publishing industry in general, and the internet at its darkest, are really a Jurassic Backyard (see my recent short novel by that title.
NOTES: The title of Heartbreaker changed in 1998 to This Shoal of Space. More recently, I've tried other titles, but will likely revert to the 1998 title. here it is at Galley City as Woman In The Sea. I have learned (the hard way) that changing titles, blurbs, covers, etc. does nothing to promote a book. Instead, Word Of Mouth (WOM) is everything. Wish I'd understood that long ago. On these pages, belatedly, are a multidude of excited, interested readers who are raving about my books. Maybe it will inspire a few readers decades later into the 21st Century. Also: The Haunted Village, our pioneering SFFH website, was anchored along with Neon Blue Fiction at our umbrella imprint Clocktower Fiction. That in turn changed to Clocktower Books around 2001 to further encompass nonfiction books and articles. Also (PLEASE NOTE) good news: you can read all of my CLASSIC books (half free/try-buy whole) at Galley City. So the joy and excitement of these early readers is still available online in the HTML Novel format.
Neon Blue Fiction (named after my novel Neon Blue) was our suspense fiction website, which in 1997 came under the umbrella imprint Clocktower Fiction, which in turn in late 2001 became Clocktower Books.

Read Half Free/Try-Buy at Galley City. Good news: you can read all of my CLASSIC books (half free/try-buy whole) at Galley City. So the joy and excitement of these early readers is still available online in the HTML Novel format. Talk about Word Of Mouth (WOM).
Many years ago, I must have gathered some of these reader emails and compressed them into GIF image files, which I have rescued & posted here. I have yet more reader emails from long ago, which I hope to post soon. I'm always working hard to write my next book.
